Ocunas is headquartered in Austin, Texas and was started by Scott Gendelman. He wanted to create a unique, modern apparel and lifestyle brand that fits his passion for a good vibes lifestyle inspired by comfort, quality, nature, adventure, travel, music, and mindfulness.

Our first product is the first thing we put on before getting dressed….underwear. Scott has never been satisfied with the limited, old-school underwear options of loose, unattractive traditional boxers with no support, or tight, sticky, sweaty boxer briefs that aren't great and have unwanted sweat.

He decided to do something about it to help all men with this same problem that won't go away. We created the first ever, men’s HYBRID fit underwear. At the heart of our mission is mindfulness, especially when it comes to providing clean water to those without reliable, local access. We're so passionate about this cause that we wanted our company name to reflect the foundation of life itself—water. Inspired by the Yoruban word "okun," meaning sea, we adapted it to create "Ocunas," a name that embodies both our purpose and our commitment to making a difference.
